1. Fill out the downloadable Story Web. Have students answer the questions about who will be featured in the story and what will happen.
   
   
2. Guide your students through the simple process of writing a first draft, using the downloadable Story Draft form.
   
   
3. Work with students as they read and edit their first drafts, adding descriptive words and correcting grammar and spelling.
